Huber & Associates was established in 1984 by Richard Huber. The original purpose of the firm was to assist and support business owners, enabling them to enhance profitability and increase overall management control. While that purpose still exists, we have grown and expanded our purpose to support individuals with tax services, estate planning and retirement planning. We also serve non-profit and for-profit organizations through consulting services, accounting and tax services.

Richard Huber, CPA

Managing Partner

Richard is the founder and CEO of Huber & Associates, which he established in 1984. A graduate of Bloomsburg University and a licensed CPA, Richard has dedicated his career to building a firm rooted in integrity, expertise, and client-focused service. Under his leadership, Huber & Associates has grown into a trusted name in accounting for individuals and businesses alike.




Donna Ellis, CPA

Manager

Donna joined Huber and Associates in 2019 with a history of expert experience in the public accounting arena in tax and audits, small business and nonprofits, as well as experience in the private sector in head positions of accounting departments. She has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration earned from Texas State University, and is currently licensed as a CPA in both Nevada and Texas. Donna reviews all tax returns and financial statements prepared by the firm, handles complex business and trust returns, and prepares both Compiled and Reviewed financial statements'. Her attention to detail and client relationships make her an essential part of our team.

Kevin Schaeffer, CPA, MBA

Senior Accountant

Kevin joined the Huber team with a strong academic and professional background, earning both his Bachelor’s degree (2020) and MBA (2021) from Shippensburg University, and becoming a licensed CPA in Pennsylvania in 2023. Kevin focuses on tax preparation and planning for individuals and small businesses—an area he’s especially passionate about. His analytical approach and client-focused mindset make him a valuable asset to our accounting team.

Amber Noctor

Bookkeeper & Notary

Amber has been a valued member of our team since 2021, bringing a well-rounded skill set to the accounting department. She plays a key role in preparing financial statements, managing administrative duties, and supporting daily operations. Amber also provides exceptional customer service and is a certified notary, assisting clients with document verification and processing needs. Her attention to detail and dedication make her an essential part of our team’s success.
